5/12/2015 - School Board Encourages Community Input At Wednesday Meeting - Click here to print this information

The Antigo School Board Community Relations and Communications committee will meet for their monthly meeting Wednesday evening at 6:30 at the Antigo Middle School IMC.

The school board structure was changed not long after the change in school board power last April, with the board deciding a bulk of discussion would take place at Committee of the Whole meetings, and to create numerous committees.

The public is encouraged and welcomed to come to the meeting and share their thoughts on anything regarding the school district. Board member Patrick McKenna says the parents are very passionate about their child's education, and they want to hear those opinions.

The board also partnered with a company, School Perceptions, to get the community's opinions on several issues facing the district. A representative of the company will be giving a summary of the results at a meeting tonight beginning at 7:30 in the High School Media Tech Room.
