Early Thursday morning, an Antigo woman called authorities to report a theft of medication that had taken place on Wednesday. An aunt of the woman had suggested a man who would fix her furnace for her. While she was in the basement, the man pried open her lock box and stole the pills. The woman had pain pills as well as Xanax. She said she called the man, asking him to return the medication and he refused. She told police that she had recently undergone back surgery and was addicted. The investigation continues
