Anne Arundel Community College is proud to be the largest single campus community college in the state! The college opened in temporary quarters at Severna Park High School in September of 1961 and moved to its Arnold campus in September 1967.
The 230-acre Arnold campus includes nine academic buildings, a gymnasium, pool, student services center, student union, astronomy building, 440-seat performing arts center, library, two art galleries and 3,000-seat athletic field. Over the years, the college added additional facilities in strategic locations throughout the county including Arundel Mills, Glen Burnie Town Center, Hotel, Culinary Arts and Tourism Institute, and several other high school and middle school locations. These additional facilities allow the college to serve a greater number of students throughout the county.
