We are proud to be one of only about two dozen electric cooperatives in the nation that offers a mobile site!
In addition, check out our new Outage Map! The map displays the location of any current outages in our service area by county. It updates automatically every minute, so you can be sure that youre getting the most current information.
The Outage Viewer gives the total number of outages, the number of members affected, and the number of members whose power has been restored. In addition, you can find the phone number for reporting an outage.
Were making it easier than ever for you to stay connected to the convenient services we offer!
In the Community
Union Power Cooperative is committed to the communities we serve. We support education by giving three college scholarships each year to deserving high school seniors as well as funding Bright Ideas education grants to teachers. Union Power also sponsors two middle school students to attend the Kellie Harper Basketball Camp in Raleigh and the Roy Williams Basketball Camp in Chapel Hill. We also support community events that benefit several different charitable organizations.
