The Greensburg Redevelopment Commission met on Thursday.

City Engineer Ron May gave an update on Veterans Way phase 2 status. The contractor has been issued a notice to proceed. The contractor chosen was Milestone Contractors and they plan to start work in September. May also gave an update on the Indiana Department of Health Preparation of a Community-wide Bicycle and Pedestrian Master Plan. They will soon be receiving an agreement with the city and state from the Department of health with a notice to proceed. May recommended when the agreement arrives that the Mayor signs to keep the process going. This was approved by the board. The board approved the creation of a selection committee. The creation of a advisory committee to guide the process was approved.

Grant Kleinhenz and Wing Lau from American Structurepoint Inc. gave a presentation of preliminary findings for the infrastructure capital improvement plan and program. They have had over 20 zoom calls over the past month gathering data from the community as they have been for the last 3 months. Now they need to criteria rank this data which will be broken down into categories before being scored higher or lower. These categories include funding, connectivity, location, etc.. There will also be a table made with cost estimated as well. The board was then given a map and list of all projects. The list is just a starting point and the final list will be much smaller. There was a common theme with most people they talked to mentioning multi mobile projects. There will be a drawn up report sometime in October.

The claims were approved. The motion to hire a new secretary was approved.
