2/26/2019 - Greensburg Board of Aviation Commissioners Meeting

The Greensburg Board of Aviation Commissioners met Monday evening. Vice President Jon Dooley provided the financial report with $56,448.92 in the Airport Improvement Account; $41,951.98 in the Aviation and Rotary Fuel Account; and $110,438.37 in the Airport Operations Account for a total of $208,839.27. The commissioners approved President Bill Ernstes to sign for appraisals contingent on the Greensburg City Council passing the Airport Resolution on March 4th. Airport Manager Jerry Scheidler reported that one hangar remains vacant.
Paul Shaffer from BF&S informed the commissioners that all boundary surveys have been completed and the legal descriptions have been sent to the board's attorney, Donald Tribbett. The topographic surveys have not been completed at this point. Mr. Shaffer informed the commissioners that navigation easements still need to be sent to Mr. Tribbett. Mr. Shaffer submitted 2 pay requests that were approved by the board. The first request, for Airport Improvement Program 12, was for partial payment 5 with a federal share of $9,180 and state and local shares of $510 each for a total of $10,200. The second request, for Airport Improvement Program 13, was for partial payment 1 with a federal share of $15,948 and state and local shares of $886 each for a total of $17,720.
The board will hold its next meeting on March 25th at 7:00 pm at Greensburg City Hall.
