6/6/2018 - BARTHOLOMEW COUNTY SHERIFF'S YOUTH ACADEMY OFF TO A GREAT START - Click here to print this information

The Bartholomew County Sheriff's Youth Academy 2018 is underway. From what we are
hearing, kids are having a great time.
114 Bartholomew County kids registered for the Academy this year.

"This Academy, designed by law enforcement professionals, provides your child(ren) with a real understanding of the law enforcement experience. This unique opportunity has allowed our young participants to focus on strengthening their life skills of self-respect, respect of others, teamwork, and commitment to ones goals. I hope the hands-on, interactive educational activities, as well as the physical training activities, will be most beneficial to your child(ren),"
said Bartholomew County Sheriff Matthew A. Myers.

The Bartholomew County Sheriff's Office implemented the Sheriff's Youth Academy in 2015 - during the first year of the Myers administration. Since, hundreds of local kids have participated in the Academy.
