5/11/2018 - BURGLARY IN PROGRESS CALL LANDS TAYLORSVILLE MAN IN BCJ - Click here to print this information

On May 11, 2018, approximately 2:18 a.m., Bartholomew County Sheriff's Deputies were dispatched to a possible burglary in progress in the 2700 block of Perry Drive.

On arrival, Sergeant Kris Weisner observed a vehicle leaving the residence and attempted a traffic stop. The driver, identified as Timothy Hill, 34, 9125 Friendship Drive, Taylorsville refused to stop until he reached Main Street in Taylorsville.

Hill admitted to having been at the residence and having recently used Methamphetamine.

Hill was taken to the Bartholomew County Jail on preliminary charges of:

-Operating a Motor Vehicle while Under the Influence/Drugs,

-Resisting by Fleeing in a Vehicle and
Criminal Trespass

Mr. Hill has since been released.

All persons are considered innocent until/unless proven guilty in a court of law.
