6/18/2017 - Rep. Frye earns top score from Indiana Chamber - Click here to print this information

STATEHOUE State Rep. Randy Frye (R-Greensburg) earned a perfect score on the Indiana Chamber of Commerces annual Legislative Vote Analysis for his support of pro-jobs, pro-economy legislation.

Fryes score is based on his performance during the 2017 session of the Indiana General Assembly and his votes cast in agreement with the Indiana Chambers position on certain bills, including measures on long-term road funding, ISTEP replacement and pre-K expansion for children from low-income families.

We want employers and citizens to take note of this report because it makes it very clear which legislators were supportive of bettering Indianas economic climate and which were not, said Indiana Chamber President and CEO Kevin Brinegar.

According to the Indiana Department of Workforce Development, Indianas statewide unemployment rate as of April stood at 3.6 percent, which is lower than the national average of 4.4 percent. U.S. News and World Report ranked Indiana as the best-run state in America based on fiscal responsibility, streamlined operations, improved services and enhanced transparency.

Indiana has been named one of the top states in the nation for its business climate, which helps attract employers and jobs to the state, Frye said. More Hoosiers are working than ever before, and I will continue to support policies keeping our state economically strong and business friendly.

Frye received a four-year aggregate score of 93 percent.

State Rep. Frye (R-Greensburg) represents House District 67, which includes Ohio, Ripley and Switzerland counties, as well as portions of Decatur, Jennings, Jefferson and Dearborn counties.
