More Information The Greensburg Redevelopment Commission held its monthly meeting Thursday evening. City Engineer Ron May provided an update on the project status of Phase II. The city has received comments on the environmental assessment from the design consultant. The city will resubmit with clarification next week and expects a release for hearing at the end of March, with a public hearing expected by mid-April. Mr. May also provided an update on the Veterans Way Overlay District Ordinance. The city held a public information meeting last week and, as a result, will present the final draft ordinance to the Greensburg Plan Commission at their meeting on March 21st. The commission tabled action on the Greensburg City Schools project until April. A committee was appointed to make recommendations on prioritizing the project list. Mayor Dan Manus and Street Commissioner Mark Klosterkemper presented cost information on the project to complete work on sidewalks, curbs, drainage pipes, and street lights on Lincoln Street from Walnut Street to Washington Street. The commission will hold its next meeting on April 20th at 6:30 pm at Greensburg City Hall.
