More Information A Greensburg woman faces an allegation of operating a vehicle while intoxicated, a class A misdemeanor. 24-year old Whitney Stewart was charged in Decatur County Superior Court on March 15th. According to court documents, a Greensburg Police Department officer initiated a traffic stop at Main and West Streets. The officer observed that the suspect's eyes were bloodshot and glassy. The suspect's speech was allegedly slurred in statements she made to the officer. According to the police report, the officer smelled a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from the vehicle. The officer was able to administer one of the three standard field sobriety tests, which the suspect was unable to perform correctly. According to police reports, the suspect refused to take a portable breath test. The suspect agreed to take a chemical test after the officer read the Indiana Implied Consent Warning. The officer, in accordance with department policy, transported the suspect to the Decatur County Jail. The officer administered the chemical breath test with a result of .199% BrAc. The suspect was booked and processed into the Decatur County Jail with no further incident.
