More Information A Greensburg man faces allegations of possession of methamphetamine, a level 6 felony, possession of paraphernalia, a class A misdemeanor, and possession of marijuana, a class B misdemeanor. 45-year old Jason Young was charged in Decatur County Superior Court on March 8th. According to court documents, Greensburg Police Department officers went to a residence on Monfort Street for a warrant service on the suspect. When the officers walked to the back of the residence, they positively identified the suspect. Officers advised the suspect that he had an active warrant from Bartholomew County and then placed him into handcuffs. According to the police report, while searching the suspect, officers found a glass smoking device that later field tested positive for methamphetamine. They also found a cigarette pack containing a small plastic corner baggie of a green leafy substance, with the alleged odor of marijuana. After being read his Miranda rights, the suspect admitted that the green leafy substance was marijuana. He alleged that he found the glass smoking device and was going to get rid of it. The suspect was transported to the Decatur County Jail.
