More Information A Greensburg man and woman were charged in Decatur County Superior Court on March 6th. Allegations against 18-year old Trevor Powers and 22-year old Michaela McQueary involve possession of methamphetamine, a level 6 felony. According to court documents, two Decatur County Sheriff's Department officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle without a clearly visible license plate. None of the people in the vehicle were valid drivers. The officers allegedly observed a clear plastic corner bag tied into a knot on the rear passenger floorboard and, at that point, had Powers exit the vehicle. Powers allegedly stated that he had nothing illegal on him. When emptying his pockets, Powers pulled a digital scale and battery pack from his pocket, along with a dollar bill and a clear zip lock bag containing a crystal susbstance. When questioned, McQueary allegedly stated that the bag on the rear passenger side floorboard wasn't hers, but officers determined that it was within her wingspan. Upon returning to the Decatur County Sheriff's Department, an officer field tested both plastic bags, which tested positive for methamphetamine.
