Maryland State Police believe alcohol may have been involved in a fatal crash in Harford County Friday evening. Timothy Eyring, 49 of Baltimore was announced dead at the scene after he was ejected from the vehicle, he was not wearing a seat belt. The driver and the passenger in the back seat of the car were uninjured. During contact with the driver, troopers detected signs that he was likely under the influence while driving. The driver was taken to the University of Maryland Upper Chesapeake Medical Center for a blood test to figure out his blood alcohol content. Investigators believe the driver lost control of his vehicle on the Rt.924 ramp to Northbound Rt.1 and traveled off the left side of the roadway, struck a guardrail and overturned. Charges are pending.
