6/7/2018 - Juvenile Charges in Alleged Armed Robbery in Pasadena - Click here to print this information

(WNAV) -- A teenager from Laurel is now behind bars in connection with a reported armed robbery in Pasadena.

Anne Arundel County police say that just before 2:30 in the morning Wednesday, the suspect displayed a handgun and demanded cash. It was at the Royal Farms Store in the 2500 block of Mountain Road.

With help from four legged officers and others in helicopters, he was captured in the nearby woods.

Officials say convenience stores are frequent targets of would be robbers because their doors are open 24-hours a day.

Police encourage managers to train their employees on how to quickly access surveillance cameras which prove helpful in the investigations.

The teenager is not being identified since he is a juvenile.
