(Centerville, MD) WNAV - Two brothers are held without bond in Queen Annes County relating to a home invasion and strong-arm robbery. Sheriffs deputies say they responded on Tuesday to a home on Whitby Lane in Centerville just before 4pm. Two victims told deputies that two men, known to them, entered through an unlocked door. The victims were accused of stealing money and tools then assaulted and robbed of cell phones and a wallet. Before leaving, one suspect kicked the family dog.

Deputies located the suspects at their place of business in the Church Hill area. Charges include robbery and assault for 32-year-old Khristofer Hering from Millington and 38-year-old Garritt Hering of Annapolis. Garritt also faces animal cruelty charges. The pair is held without bond.

The victims were treated at the scene for non-life threatening injuries. The dog suffered a minor injury.
