(Annapolis, MD) WNAV - Maryland State Police say a Berlin man faces drug charges after he was stopped for a traffic violation on Route 50 near the Bay Bridge Tuesday morning.

Troopers observed a vehicle driving erratically and pulled over 39-year-old Jeffrey Jennings. Authorities say Jennings avoided eye contact and his hands and legs were shaking uncontrollably. A K-9 alerted troopers to drugs in the vehicle. Nearly two grams of heroin was discovered along with a syringe with suspected heroin residue. Charges include possession of a controlled dangerous substance.
