(Annapolis, MD) WNAV -- Annapolis Police say the use of pepper spray during two arrests in March is being reviewed. Two men were facing charges that include: resisting arrest, disorderly conduct and interfering with an arrest. All filed charges were dropped by the Anne Arundel County State's Attorney's office.

Police responded for a downtown bar fight March 12. Pepper spray was used to help subdue two men but the incident recorded on body cameras revealed that officers questioned what charges would be filed against the men. "The Capital" newspaper reviewed the footage and reports that officers seemed unsure of what laws were broken and would apply in this case.

Annapolis Police Spokeswoman Sergeant Amy Miguez tells WNAV they value the transparency that is provided with the expanded use of body cameras during interactions with community members.

No other details are being released at this time.
