(Annapolis, MD) WNAV - Anne Arundel County Police say 35-year-old Samuel Miller called 911 in the evening on February 19 saying he had taken illegal drugs, was hallucinating and had a gun. He refused to leave his residence in the St Margarets area and officers set up a perimeter and continued negotiations. At several times during the event Miller fired rounds at police. Crisis negotiators brought the incident to a peaceful close in the afternoon on February 20. There were no injuries.
Miller was held at a hospital for evaluation until today. He is facing a long list of charges and is held at the Jennifer Road Detention Center without bond.
