2/28/2018 - Driver overdoses, crashes into building - Click here to print this information

(Annapolis,MD) WNAV - Shortly after noon on Wednesday the Annapolis Fire department responded to a vehicle crash in the 1700 block of West Street in Annapolis. A vehicle drove into a building and the driver was unconscious. Firefighters determined the driver suffered a drug overdose and the driver was successfully revived after two doses of Narcan. The driver and passenger were transported with non life threatening injuries to Anne Arundel Medical center. The driver's dog was in the vehicle and authorities called animal control to secure the pet. The dog was not injured. A building inspector determined there was no structural damage to the building.
