2/27/2018 - Annapolis Green and the End of Plastic Straws - Click here to print this information

(Annapolis, MD) WNAV -- The Annapolis Green group is hoping people will join them to try and get rid of plastic straws, which pose an environmental hazard. The advocacy group meets this evening for two hours, starting at 5:30 at the Chart House in Eastport. The campaign is called,
Dont Suck, Sip Responsibly.

Part of the movement includes a request to re-train servers so they dont automatically drop plastic straws on the tables, but push restaurants to offer paper straws on request.

This week is Annapolis Restaurant week in town with many local restaurants offering specials as promotions to draw new and returning customers.
