BALTIMORE, MD (AP) - Nearly 50 people have fallen sick on a cruise ship that departed from Baltimore last week. Royal Caribbean Cruises spokesman tells The Baltimore Sun, the Grandeur of the Seas
cruise ship was scheduled to set sail back Thursday, but they are delaying the return until tomorrow. There have been 46 cases of a gastrointestinal illness on board.

The cruise left Baltimore on Jan. 2 for a nine-day trip with stops in South Carolina, Florida and the Bahamas. Around 2,900 passengers are on board. The cause of the illness is unknown.

The ship's doctors have used over-the-counter medication. Last month, around 500 passengers on two separate Royal Caribbean Cruises also fell sick.
