More Information (Glen Burnie, MD) WNAV -- Two people suffered serious injuries after being trapped in a vehicle in a head-on crash Tuesday night. It happened in Glen Burnie in the area of Quarterfield Road and Thelma Avenue just before 8 p.m. Anne Arundel Fire officials say it was a car and van that collided. It took fire crews 15 minutes to free the two patients. A 50-year-old woman who was a driving the minivan and her 53-year-old passenger, a man, were taken to Shock Trauma for injuries that are serious, but not considered life threatening. The investigation is underway.
