(Gambrills, MD) WNAV -- Anne Arundel County police believe two suspects are involved in the hanging of a noose at Crofton Middle School.
The noose was placed on a light fixture in front of a window of a teachers planning room.
A teacher discovered it around 11 a.m. Thursday.
It was in the view of students from their classrooms. Police were called and the
custodian took it down.

A letter from Principal Nuria Williams went home with students. She is inviting parents who would like to talk about the incident to "Coffee with the Principal" Saturday morning at 9 a.m. It was a previously scheduled outreach event.

The school is located on Davidsonville Road in Gambrills.

Earlier in this school year, police investigated a racially motivated report at Arundel High School in Gambrills.
