MORGANTON (WKVS) The Burke Partnership for Economic Development will get the money that it requested from the Burke County commissioners but theyll have to raise $33,000 in private funds.. The Morganton News Herald says that the commissioners wanted to give more money for this project, but felt the Partnership needed to raise some funds of its own. Other municipalities will be given more monies for economic development but they to will have some stipulations.
