GRANITE FALLS (WJRI) 5 people have been arrested and charged in connection to manufacturing methamphetamine in Caldwell County. Caldwell County Sheriffs Deputies, along with agents from the State Bureau of Investigation began the investigation earlier this month when they served a warrant on Ernest Parker of Wrong Way in Granite Falls. While at the residence officers discovered a methamphetamine lab that was in use along with a sizeable amount of the drug. 34 year old Ernest Parker, 57 year old Mark McGlothlin, 40 year old Jody Lockaby, 40 year old Tracy Lynn Reid, and 36 year old Kevin Reid have all been arrested and are facing felony drug charges. The agents believe this lab has been one of the biggest seen this year in regards to inventorying the items of evidence.
