Supervisor, James Edberg, of Felch Township, is facing a recall which was filed today with Dickinson County Clerk, Dolly Cook. According to Cook, the wording in the petition states,"Felch Township Supervisor, James Edberg, does not understand the laws and procedures or know how to communicate them to the public; On certain issues, he has his own agenda, regardless to citizens of his own board; He has failed to act in a responsible manner on citizen issues; We need a supervisor that can move us forward with our Community Center and Grounds, technology and be open to fix and upgrade our roads." The petitioners, Marcia Hord and Lynn Ackerman will need to acquire 67 valid signatures to bring the question before the voters in Felch Township in November. The Elections Commission will meet to decide whether or not the wording is understandable by voters.The signatures must be gathered by the August 3rd deadline, for the question to be placed before before voters on the November ballot.
