Grace UMC Assembling Cleaning Buckets for Florida and Texas - Click here to print this information

If you watched storm coverage of Hurricanes Harvey and Irma over the past few days you will know that there are a lot of people suffering with wind and water damage in Texas, Florida and other places in the southeastern United States. We were lucky that we didnt have damage here on the Shore. Many people here want to help those in need but are unsure of what to do or how to help. Grace United Methodist Church in Parksley is assembling Cleaning Buckets to send to victims of the storms. The buckets contain specific cleaning supplies which are packed in a 5 gallon bucket and sealed for transport. It is urgent to get supplies to victims as soon as possible. Donations of supplies can be dropped off in Parksley at Grace on Wilson Avenue and Jaxons Five and Dime. The buckets will be assembled at Grace on Monday, September 18. If you would prefer to give a cash donation, make checks payable to Grace UMC Hurricane Relief. 100% of the cash raised will be used for victim relief. Call the Grace Church Office at 665-4783 or go to Jaxons to get a list of the supplies needed or for more information.
