3/13/2017 - Local Police Face Challenges - Click here to print this information

As always, our Antigo Police are staying busy with an array of challenges. On Thursday of last week, an Antigo officer had to deal with a student at Antigo High School who brought three knives to school. That same night, an officer was sent to the hospital after a fight with two men. It started as a traffic stop near Seventh Avenue and Hudson. The driver got into a scuffle with the officer, who suffered minor injuries. Then, the man and his passenger ran away on foot. They still havent been caught. The injured officer was taken to Aspirus Langlade Hospital. The mans vehicle was impounded by police.
