34 people died on Wisconsin roadways last month. According to the state department of transportation, that statistic is 21 fewer than February of 2016 and one more than the five year average for the month of February. SO far this year, 70 people have been killed in traffic crashes. That includes seven pedestrians. DOT is urging drivers to be especially cautious as spring gets closer, because there will be more bicyclists, pedestrians, motorcyclists, and scooter riders on state roadways.
