In the Run-Off election for McCulloch County Commissioner for Precinct 4, Rick Kemp received 133 votes, defeating opponent Vance Thurman who received 113 votes.

In early voting, Thurman had 54 votes, while Kemp received 36. However, Thurman's lead disappeared on election day with Kemp receiving a total of 97 votes, well ahead of the 59 votes garnered by Thurman.

Of the 246 votes cast in the Precinct 4 race, 90 were cast early, with 156 cast on Election Day.

In the Primary election in March, Vance Thurman had received 132 votes, just ahead of Kemp who had 114 votes in that race. Incumbent Brent Deeds was just behind Kemp with 112 votes. .

In other Run-Off election results in McCulloch County, Michael Toth received 203 votes, ahead of Donna Richardson who received 131 votes in the race for Place 6 on the 3rd Court of Appeals.

In the Run-Off in McCulloch County for the Democratic nomination for governor, Andrew White edged out Lupe Valdez 14 to 12.
